Mini Rant attached to a Pity Party

So, I was expecting a payment from one of my freelance clients last week – it never arrived. I was counting on that money to pay my gas bill this month. Yeah. So here I sit with an eighty dollar gas bill that I expect to receive a disconnect notice for any day now. Because let me tell ya, Scana Energy does not play when it comes to their money. I've never been late on a payment. Never. This payment was due on the 5th of Jan. and when I called to explain my situation, they refused to work with me. They would rather see two young children in a freezing cold home than wait until the 15th of the month for payment. Yeah. Thanks bunches, Scana.

But honestly, what are you gonna do? These things happen, I suppose. So, rant and pity party over. After all, it is Caturday.
